About

Kado is a personal studio practice built around tape, taste, and hands-on listening.

This page is where the background, point of view, and studio identity can live without crowding the homepage.

Kaden Smith

Music feels different when it leaves the screen and becomes physical.

Kado exists for artists who want their records to feel more alive once they pass through tape, circuitry, air, and the room around them.

The studio is built around quarter-inch printing and a creative, artist-led approach to production color. Sometimes that means subtle glue and lift. Sometimes it means a more obvious push into saturation, compression, varispeed, or motion.

This page can grow into a fuller bio later with more photos, credits, process notes, and whatever story you want the site to tell about your work.

Studio notes

Kado is Kaden Smith's Los Angeles-based tape print practice built around a Tascam 388 workflow.

The focus is creative sound enhancement: warmth, compression, saturation, harmonic color, varispeed, and real tape motion.

The approach stays artist-friendly and collaborative rather than feeling like a generic finishing service.

Presence

The studio side of Kado is as much about listening and feel as it is about signal flow.
