Tape transfers

Creative tape transfer through quarter-inch tape.

Kado runs music through a Tascam 388-based workflow for warmth, glue, saturation, harmonic color, varispeed, and more physical motion than a flat digital export.

Quarter-inch workflow

  • Quarter-inch tape
  • 3.75 to 11.25 IPS
  • Stereo bounce or stems
  • Digital file delivery
  • Optional tape copy by request

Before / After

Hear what the tape is really doing.

These examples are here so people can hear the production style directly: how the machine adds shape, movement, weight, and air once a mix leaves the screen and interacts with something physical.

Only one example plays at a time, so the comparison stays clean.

Pricing

Clear starting prices.

Stereo bounces start at $100 per song. Stem passes typically run $300 to $500, depending on complexity. Full-length albums and larger projects can be priced as a package.

Files are usually delivered digitally through Google Drive, Dropbox, or a direct upload workflow. If you want a physical quarter-inch tape copy returned, the cost of fresh RTM tape is added separately.
